
Vickie has more than 15 years of experience in the Marketing,
Development, and Promotional fields. She began her career developing
leads in the Architectural/Engineering field, making use of design
training she received studying Architecture as well as her B.S.B.A.
in Marketing and Business Administration.
Vickie then spent 10 years in the Sports and Fitness Industry
working in Marketing and Product Development at NIKE,
Inc., Avia International (a subsidiary of Reebok International,
Inc.), and Adidas International, Inc., all based out of Portland,
Oregon. Her experience
in this industry included extensive travel throughout the U.S.,
South America, Europe, and Asia, as well as a three-year stint
living in Bangkok and Korea as Director of Development.
She ended her career in Sports and Fitness when she left her
job as Women’s Fitness Business Unit Manager for Adidas to move
with her family to SW Florida, where she now resides. Upon moving to SW
Florida, Vickie held a Marketing and Product Development position at
LCEC in Fort Myers, a position she left in 2003 in order to
establish goLEFT Consulting.
In her spare time, Vickie devotes her
creative energy and in-kind services to the community, serving as a
Marketing and PR Board Committee Member for Father Anglim Academy,
member of the Marketing Committee for Voices for Kids, Member
of the Cape Coral Art in Public Places Committee,
2006 October Fundraising Event Committee Member, and
Graphics Consultant and Decorations Chair for the Father Anglim
Academy 2006 Gala Event and Auction. She has provided numerous
in-kind services such as website design for Father Anglim Academy,
and Our Mothers Home in Estero, as well as in-kind grant-writing and
graphic design for schools, children's organizations, and
fund-raising events such as the Estero Fireman's Calendar project,
and the Sensitivity Awareness Workshop (SAW).
